The best way to save time in the mornings is to set aside a little bit of time to pre-print a ton of notes and cut them out. Printing off all of these notes is an easy way to still provide a quick hello without taking up so much time. But, finding the time to handwrite a note to one or more kids in the morning feels impossible to fit in with all of the other morning chaos. Handwriting a lunch note is always going to be well-received. Lunch Notes Don’t Need to be Complicated! Some of my lunch notes are inspirational notes to tell them to keep their head up and stay positive or to tell them how proud I am to be their mom. Kids are just like us when it comes to bad and good days. I keep “bad day” notes because everybody has those weeks or days when things just aren’t going their way. It’s important to teach our children through example by apologizing and admitting when we have made mistakes. I like to slip a note about being sorry or making a mistake to let my child know that I am sorry for my misstep. Some days, I may have yelled a bit much in the morning or some other Mom mistake.
